Are you willing to help with the Harvest?

And he said to them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest. Luke 10:22
This morning, I woke from a dream. I was driving down a gravel road in the country. I noticed the trees still had green leaves, although they were beginning to change color, with some bright orange and brown leaves that stood out. It was a pretty day with sunshine and a blue sky. The temperature was mild, just right to have the windows down while driving. The rocks on the country road seemed extra white to me. I have no idea where I was going or why. I was just on this gravel road enjoying my surroundings when I saw a tractor and wagon up ahead. The wagon had been heaped with corn, and the side had collapsed. Even as I stopped, golden orange kernels of corn were still falling from the wagon. I was going to pull around the wagon and tractor when I saw a motorcycle coming towards us. It was a silver, white motorcycle and I noticed the white dust from the rocks in the air behind it, as he slowed and stopped beside my car. He said, "This man needs $100.00 for fuel. His house burned down two weeks ago and he has no money, nothing." I could see that this farmer was trying to get his crops harvested.
I opened my purse and got out my money. I handed the man on the tractor fifty dollars. I noticed that it left me a five and two ones, seven dollars. I don't know if that significant, but I noticed it.
When I woke from the dream, I felt refreshed. My immediate thought was, "Sometimes, we entertain angels unaware."
As I pondered the dream, I realized that I could not recall seeing the faces of the man on the motorcycle and the tractor, yet they had spoken with me face to face. Angels in my dream, I thought. Then I had the knowledge that it was about
the Harvest.
And I thought of the scripture: And he said to them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest." Luke 10:22
In the dream, I was willing. I gave the farmer fifty dollars. The golden corn spilled out onto the ground is the harvest, each kernel a soul to be saved. Were the men in my dream angels, faceless messengers from God with the glorious news that it is Harvest time?
I have known for many years that God has created me, refined me and called me for such a time as this.
Is He calling you, too? Will you answer God's call and become a part of the greatest work of our Lord?
