A Word about prayer... Matthew 18:20

Published on 26 June 2024 at 04:44

In God's Word to us, we are given His promise.

For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.”  Matt. 18:20 (KJV)

What does this mean?    This simply means that when we come together before God with another person in one accord, He will hear our prayer... because He is right there with us.

God, who is our loving Father, desires the best for us. His love never fails!  Life often gets complicated, and we feel hurt, confused or broken, and we don't know where to turn for help.  In these moments, we can and must come to our Father, who loves us the Most.

This is why God has prayer warriors and intercessors who He calls on to pray with you and for you.  Know that you are not alone, and never be afraid to ask for help.  Our Father knows our heart. He knows our every need and His plan is aways to provide for us comfort and love.  It may be a stranger on the street, a ray of warm sunshine, a shadow, a word from a stranger, a voice in the wind, a hug from a friend, a place of refuge, a meal, or a listening ear.

Know that we are available to pray with you and for you.  We offer helpful insight and scripture to help you when life gets hard and an unconditional, nonjudgmental listening ear.

Sometimes, we just need someone to listen and to know someone really does care about us.  This is why we are here.   We are here because we care about you.  We are here because we love you.  And you are worthy of much love!

My prayer for today is that we receive a loving embrace from Jesus, that we feel His presence and healing power through us,

as He is right here with us, in our midst!

For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.”  Matt. 18:20
