"The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you. and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace." Numbers 6:24-26
This is a special birthday message for someone very dear to my heart. He is a selfless man whom I have often referred to as man of God because of his beautiful heart, filled with joy, and his willingness to pray and listen and love unconditionally. He's been there for me, to listen to me and soak up my tears on his shoulder, even though we were a couple thousand miles apart and he most likely didn't even know that he was doing it. My heart knew and God knew and that's what matters the most!
When people close to me here, family and friends were unable or unwilling to pray with me, I reached out to this man of God on more than one occasion. I always knew that his prayers would be heard in heaven, and I am confident that they have been. God's word tells us that the prayers of a righteous man are heard in heaven. I know that's true!
So, I confess that I did it again. I missed telling this very special man of God, Happy Birthday a few days ago.
In fact, we hadn't talked for several months, and I was missing our little moments of catching up and our conversations and always about how awesome God is!
Both, he and I had fallen victim to a little game of the devil and that spirit of offense, and we had just stopped communicating.
But God! Our awesome God is a God of restoration. He had been speaking to my heart very strongly about His beloved man of God.
I sent him a text message and then we talked, and we prayed. My heart knew how much I missed the sound of his voice, his laugh and it kind of makes me cry a little writing this. That's love!
That me! My emotional, empathetic, compassionate, unconditional loving Jesus heart that lives in me, brings me to tears very often.
So, I just want to say, Happy Birthday beloved man of God!
It was truly a special day in heaven and here on earth when you were born!
After all, our Father knew you intimately before you were placed inside your mother's womb, and He knew that you would grow to be a man after His own heart.
Thank you, my Lord, for this very special person in my life...for Your beloved man of God.
My prayer for today is that we always share the beautiful love of Jesus, as we go about our days. May we always leave a lasting impression of His love within us... Blessings and love to all in Christ Jesus. Amen.
