Darkness Exposed...The Angels in Heaven are Rejoicing

Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. (Ephesians 5:11)
Have you ever experienced total darkness?
An example would be in the midst of a storm, and the lights in your home go out leaving you in utter darkness.
As you search around your house in the dark, you finally find a candle. You strike a match to light the candle, and the light from the match strike illuminates the room, providing the light you are seeking.
In this world, we find comfort in knowing that the electric company provides the light we need. With just a flip of a switch, we receive light. It is easy and we are accustomed to receiving worldly light in this way.
Did you know that many people in the world are living in spiritual darkness?
Many people have rejected the word of God in their lives. By choice they live worldly lives involving greed, lusts, selfishness, pride, hatred and bitterness. Many people have declared themselves atheist; nonbelievers that God even exists. They seek proof of His existence, but never find it due to their hard heartedness. Many people suffer from self-condemnation and unworthiness and feel that God wouldn't want to know them.
And as Satan and His demons seek to destroy God's children, we see people blinded to the word of God every day.
This is where we, as mature Christians knowledgeable in the Word of God, are called to counter the lies of the evil one and lead people to Jesus.
We are called to be a light in the darkness, showing the same love, compassion and kindness that Jesus did.
Scripture tells us: Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. (Ephesians 5:11)
Just like lighting a candle in a dark room when the lights are out, we as Christians can light up the Spiritual darkness with the Word of God. Jesus was born as a light unto the dark world. When He was born, a star lit up the sky and the angels in Heaven rejoiced.
When we expose spiritual darkness and lead people into a relationship with God through Jesus Christ, the angels in Heaven rejoice.
As a Christian, it is seldom easy working to bring light into a dark world. We face many obstacles that the evil one
throws at us. This is why in Scripture we are told to put on the full armor of God; to protect us in the battle.
(Ephesians 6:10-18)
I have noticed many times in my walk through life that the light of Jesus that shines through me is just not what some people care to see or experience. Still, I seek to share the importance of walking through life with the light of Jesus shining through me for others to experience.
Scripture tells us in Ephesians 5:13 - But all things become visible when they are exposed by the light, for everything that becomes visible is light.
When we walk with the light of Jesus flowing through us, we can see the reflection of the light of Jesus touching people.
Some may not welcome it or want it, but for the short time that we are near them, the pure essence of the light of Jesus Christ reaches out to touch others, as a light in a dark world.
To many people, sickness and disease, physical ailments, cancer, emotional problems, or being financially broken are seen as part of the cycle of life and are too accepted into people's lives today.
Jesus gives us the authority, in His precious name, to expose the darkness of the evils of this world.
He desires for us to live a whole and complete life in His light and love.
When the darkness is exposed and Jesus' light is allowed to shine through us, onto others, and they choose to
receive it... the angels in Heaven begin rejoicing - for the glory of God is manifested in His light.
In the midst of a worldly storm, we can call the electric company and they send someone out to repair the problem, restoring the light in the physical darkness of our homes.
In the spiritual storm, we can rest assured that the light of God will light a path for success. If we maintain our focus on His light and His saving grace, we will never reside in total darkness.
Our Father in Heaven calls us to be powerful servants; warriors ready to bring light into a dark world.
As Jesus died on the cross, Satan was defeated, but as ruler of this world the evil one's agenda is to destroy God's children, bringing them into utter darkness -- living in despair; hopeless and dying.
God says, "No... Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them." (Ephesians 5:11)
And when light comes into darkness, darkness ceases to exist and the angels in Heaven rejoice, singing praises to our Lord.
My prayer for today is that we all choose to use the precious gifts of our Father in Heaven to bring His light into darkness.
Let us walk in His love.
In His light, we become powerful warriors.
Through Him, we are able to create light in the darkness of this world.
Blessings to all and...
Praise God for He is truly awesome in every way! Amen
