When you know that you are beautiful and loved...

Did you ever stop and take the time to really ponder just how much Jesus loves us?
If we did, we probably wouldn't suffer so much in our lives feeling lonely, hurt or rejected...and we wouldn't fall victim to the many distractions that come our way every day.
We would simply seek His face, seek to sit in His presence because that is were we feel the very best and the most loved. And, we know it is perfectly okay to just be our beautiful self because He loves us just the way we are. He loves the color of our hair, our skin tone, the sound of our voice, our smile, our wrinkles. He doesn't care if we are thin or obese or somewhere in between. Jesus just simply desires to be in our presence....to walk beside us or sit and listen quietly as we tell of our day, our concerns, our joys and our laughter. And Jesus will gently share in all of these times, openly inviting us into these times. Jesus will cry with us, laugh with us, lift us up and encourage us. He isn't just a man who does these things because he feels he has to out of some obligation.
No, Jesus is always happy to give us His full attention...complete in a love that only He can give.
And...it is that pure, sweet love of Jesus that lets us know we are beautiful and loved.
We are His beloved and He is ours.
When we know we are beautiful and loved, life takes on an essence of beauty and fragrance. As we walk in the knowledge that we are beautifully loved by our Jesus, we emit the essence of our Lord in beautiful glow and the people we encounter take notice and often comment that we surely know Jesus!
As many brothers and sisters in Christ recognize the beauty of our Lord's love, many wo do not know Jesus yet, see His essence in us and would like to have it, too. And this is a most awesome opportunity to share our experience with the One who loves us the Most! Our Jesus also loves those who do not know Him. He loves them the Most, too!
As we share that magnificent, unconditional love of Jesus with those around us, they, too, will begin to grow with the essence of His love and know that they, too, are beautiful and loved. His desire is for all of us to be His bride. He is our Husband, our lover, our best friend, companion, healer, and provider.
When we share in this knowledge that we are beautiful and loved so purely and sweetly by our Lord, we can and must seek him with a humble and gracious heart. He tells us His banner over us is Love!

My prayer for today is that we don't allow busyness of our days to distract us from time with our Jesus. Jesus is never too busy to come to us, to meet us right where we are. We can always take a moment and close our eyes and find our Jesus...in the countryside among the wildflowers, in the gentle breeze, in our car, at the grocery store and at our dinner table. Jesus is never far from us. May we make sure we live our lives, loving others as beautifully and lovingly as Jesus loves us.
When we know that we are beautiful and loved...we know it is perfectly okay to just be our beautiful self because He loves us just the way we are.
Love and Blessings to all in Jesus' name. Amen.
